Walk Description & Map

A great day trip to Glen Coe with really good weather conditions. The cloud was high and broken and the wind whilst strong at times wasn't enough to impede walking at all. The hills were surprisingly quiet though with very few other people around considering the great conditions.
The snow was largely stable although care was required near cornices and conditions deteriorated a bit as the day went on. Two climbers triggered a small avalanche to the side of us as we were making our descent although it didn't come near us.
We finished the day at the excellent Clachaig Inn, plus they had one of my favourite beers on - Orkney Brewery's Dark Island
