Walk Description & Map
Day 1 was largely good weather apart from the low cloud around 500m. Some great scrambling up Tryfan, although there was a scary encounter with a rescue helicopter descending beside us to lift an injured person off. There were an unbelievable number of people badly prepared for the conditions this day. We had planned to carry on further over Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr but we were running very short of time once we were over Tryfan so had to cut it short.
Day 2 also had a low cloud base but the wind speed was far higher. This wasn't too much of a problem until we were between Foel Grach and Carnedd Llewelyn when it started to become very difficult walking so we turned back at the summit instead of following our planned route over to Carnedd Dafydd.
