Walk Description & Map
A really cold, bright day. The ground was frozen solid out on the moors, which is very useful for this area as it can be very boggy otherwise. Gaiters are a good idea, I didn't have any here and walking through the heather wrecked a pair of laces. Hardly any of the paths marked on the OS map (OL31) over the moors actualy exist on the ground, although there are some big tracks that aren't on the OS map...
